2027 Stonewall Jackson Reunion

A Note from Alex Rodriguez, Association President

To the Crewmembers of the USS STONEWALL JACKSON (SSBN-634).  

I wanted to send out a personal thanks to all those that joined us in Charleston, SC for the 2025 reunion. I will go out on a limb and say that I think everyone had a pretty good time. Additional thanks go to all the ones that assisted in the planning activities – Jim Kint, Arch McCleskey, Rick Lentz, and Mark Feasel. Thanks to all the crewmembers and spouses that assisted with all the activities in the hospitality suite and banquet room. A special thanks goes to my wife, Cheryl, for providing continued advice, wisdom, guidance, and correction throughout the entire planning and execution process.

We had 55 crewmembers registered to attend with a total registered attendance of 104.

The Town and Country Inn and Suites did an excellent job throughout the week and provided an exceptional banquet for our entire crew.

It was decided that the 2027 USS STONEWALL JACKSON (SSBN-634) Reunion will be in San Diego, CA. There will be many more details coming out in 2026 for the reunion.

Because of other commitments, I am stepping down as the organization president and am looking for a volunteer to assume these duties and responsibilities. I hope someone will come forward to start the hotel search sooner than later. This is the most significant part of the reunion planning. I will volunteer my services as needed to consult with the planning efforts, especially lessons learned.
